As a technologist, Mr. Rivera has been the creator, designer and architect of
significant technologies brought to market to advance the state of the practice
in their respective fields. Mr. Rivera is the designer and architect of the
CardProfit technologies. Mr. Rivera was also the designer and architect
of the eKnowlogie refactoring environment for the automatic transformation
of web applications from web languages such as ColdFusion to open architectures
in Java and J2EE. He was the sole designer of the most successful automatic software
modernization environment brought to market, used in Europe by the AXA Group,
France Telecom and Tieto, and adopted as a standard by the U.S. Air Force for the
automated modernization of their USAF F-16 and USAF F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter
aircraft. As the former CEO of Xinotech Research, Mr. Rivera brings vast experience
in the development of strategic relationships in the U.S. and Europe, establishing
Xinotech subsidiaries in Paris and Helsinki.
As a researcher, Mr. Rivera has also received over 20 research contracts from U.S.
national organizations such as DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency),
NSF (the National Science Foundation), the Edwards Air Force Base, the U.S. Army,
and many others.
